Known mainly for its wonderful Toce waterfall, the Formazza Valley is a rugged and wild area that is not touristic. In the summer there are many treks and mountaineering routes such as Arbola and Hohsand Peaks. In the winter it transforms into an ideal ski touring, snowshoe walking and heliskiing area.
